ABSTRACT:
A method for separating deuterium from hydrogen in which the gaseous mixture of deuterium and hydrogen is brought into contact with TiNi, Ti.sub.2 Ni or a mixture of these alloys and after a delay sufficient for the absorption of hydrogen in the metal alloy, the non-absorbed residual gas is separated from the metal alloy.
