ABSTRACT:
A passive radio frequency (rf) sensor is used to track the beacon of a bastic nonguided rocket. Azimuth and elevation data are obtained in conventional radar fashion, but range data is obtained by range tracking the beacon pulse which is timed by a precision crystal controlled clock.
