ABSTRACT:
Method for masking at least part of a surface to be treated wherein an elongated, compressible, windowless, masking cushion that is resistant to the treatment is removably applied by an adhesive to the at least part of the surface to be treated. When the compressible cushion is used to mask an irregularity in the surface to be treated, such as an opening in the body of a vehicle, the cushion is adaptable to the irregularity.
