ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a method for the production of electrochemical cells having superior recharge and discharge capabilities. The cells are characterized by the use of ultra-thin non-perforated negative and positive films of lead or nickel to be used in lead acid and nickel cadmium systems. The method includes the use of a single sheet of separator material that has been infiltrated with electrolyte prior to its spiral winding into a mandrel.
