ABSTRACT:
A method is disclosed for making capillary glass liners for use in ink jet writing devices. The capillary glass blanks are suspended within a heating coil which melts the glass locally so that the blank stretches to form two well defined jet liner nozzles. Liners with inlet and outlet orifices and with bent or angled outlet nozzles are also made.
