ABSTRACT:
What are disclosed are a method for the bonding of metallic materials and for producing coatings on metallic materials with a polyvinyl chloride plastisol which has improved adhesion at baking temperatures of 90.degree. C. and up and which contains, as an adhesion-improving additive, a condensation product of a polymerized fatty acid, a polycarboxylic acid having three or more COOH groups, an optional dicarboxylic acid, and an excess based on the carboxyl groups of the acid components, of a polyalkylene polyamine, and plastisols suitable for such a process.
