ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method for inhibiting or preventing angiogenesis in animals and humans comprising the steps of administering to the animal or human an effective amount of one or more isomers of conjugated linoleic acid (“CLA”). The CLA may be administered in the form of a free fatty acid, an ester, or as a salt, in a pill, or as a component of a natural or prepared food product.
