ABSTRACT:
The reaction of the organolanthanide complexes ([.eta..sup.5 --(CH.sub.3).sub.5 C.sub.5 ].sub.2 MH).sub.2, (M being a lanthanide element) with amino-olefins provides a straight-forward route to a heterocyclic compound. Alternatively, the reaction of olefins with the organolanthanide complex in the presence of an amine results in an aminoalkane.
