ABSTRACT:
A method for generating printing data on the basis of which a disk label is creatable includes the steps of a) generating graphic data representing said disk label at a graphic data generating location (2to5), b) transforming said graphic data into said printing data at a printing data generating location (2to5), wherein said graphic data generating location (2to5) and said printing data generating location (2to5) are parts of a communication network (6), respectively, wherein steps a) and b) are controlled by a network capable client (3to5) being part of said communication network (6).
