ABSTRACT:
A cellulosic fabric which causes no injury by chlorine and has superior shrinkage resistance can be obtained by the finishing method of the present invention which comprises applying an aqueous solution of a phosphorus amide compound to a cellulosic fabric, drying the fabric applied with the solution of phosphorus amide compound, then heat treating the fabric, and thereafter treating the fabric with an aqueous solution an acid.
