ABSTRACT:
A method of evaluating a laser comprises providing a current into the laser and measuring a voltage output of an electroabsorptive modulator (EAM) coupled to the laser.A device under test includes a laser, and an electroabsorptive modulator (EAM), wherein said EAM monitors an output of said laser.
