ABSTRACT:
A supply line for supplying coating application devices with coating substances, e.g., paint from one or a plurality of containers containing the coating substance(s), includes a valve device capable of displacing the coating substance in the supply line in a direction opposite the direction of flow of the coating substance from the container into the supply line, with the supply line being radially compressible upon being impinged by pressure medium and with the valve device being arranged at an end of the supply line remote from the one or a plurality of containers so that impinging with the pressure medium is effected in the direction opposite the direction of flow of the coating substance at the time of application of the coating substance.
