ABSTRACT:
Increasing the oxidation state of plutonium to Pu (VI) by circulating a starting solution of U.sup.6 and Pu.sup.4 -nitrates and HNO.sub.3 through an electrolysis cell at an electrode voltage of about 3 volts.
