ABSTRACT:
A method is described for displaying data, wherein the data consists of a number of samples Nrthat is much larger than the number of samples Nsthat can be displayed on a display. According to the invention sets of Nc=Nr/Nssamples are formed and for each set Nca single value xtis determined according to a specific algorithm by which important features as reflected by the samples, despite the reduction in samples, still can be displayed with a better SNR than with presently known methods.
