ABSTRACT:
A method is disclosed for controlling macroinvertebrates in aqueous systems, such as lakes, comprising adding to the aqueous system in recognized need of such control an effective controlling amount of an anionic toxicant containing the anion I.sup.- or F.sup.-, such as ethylenediamine (EDDI) or sodium fluoride (NaF).
