ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for forming hollow objects of moldable organic plastic material by providing a parison on a blow core, locating said blow core bearing said parison in a blow mold, expanding said parison within said blow mold, separating said expanded parison from said core while the parison remains in said blow mold and transferring said expanded parison from said blow core within said blow mold to another core and/or blow mold. In a preferred embodiment, a plurality of cores and molds are employed to provide an extended cooling sequence for the final article.
