ABSTRACT:
A method for cleaning a surface on which is bound a glycoside-containing substance. The substance can be blood or components thereof, fecal matter or components thereof or microorganisms. The surface can be fabric, biological tissue, tooth enamel, contact lens, glass, ceramic, metal, metal alloy, plastic, plant, fruit and vegetable. A Type II endoglycosidase is used to carry out the method.
