ABSTRACT:
A ferric article is brazed by a copper solder at a temperature of or higher than 1,100.degree. C. in a heat-treatment furnace, parts of the article which are desired to be carburized, are carburized simultaneously with the brazing by covering with organic materials such as an old newspaper and the like.
