ABSTRACT:
A method for improving the overall performance of grinding wheels containing cubic buron nitride abrasives through the application of an organopolysiloxane fluid to the point of contact between the grinding wheel and a workpiece being subjected to the action of such grinding wheel. The organopolysiloxane fluid is non-toxic, and non-flammable and functions as a lubricant and coolant in the grinding process.
