ABSTRACT:
A container which has a plastic cutting strip is described wherein the edge of the cutting strip is preferably serrated and the strip is adhered to the container throughout the length of the strip. A method is also described for applying the strip to containers using a continuous length of strip wherein the strip is serrated, is then applied and cut simultaneously as the blank passes thereunder.
