ABSTRACT:
In a network (201to204), the use of a resource (209) is optimized by managing access to it dynamically. Users access the resource only when they require it and it is released immediately afterwards. This is obtained by a hierarchy stored in a memory (207) in the form of a list of users organized as a function of the contracts they have entered into for access to the resource. The requirements of users for access to the resource are examined and serviced (200) regularly.
