ABSTRACT:
A method and device for folding end portions of tubular wrappings, whereby a product enclosed inside a wrapping is fed along a path extending through a folding station, the wrapping having at least one end portion projecting in relation to an end surface of the product, and the end portion having a front portion which is folded onto the end surface by a movable folding plate located at the station; a drive device being provided to insert the plate between two sides of the end portion by so orienting the plate as to keep a lateral folding surface of the plate equidistant from, and substantially contacting, both sides.
