ABSTRACT:
The invention claimed herein is a kit for detecting biologically active substances on a support, comprising the luminescent marine bacteriaVibria Fischeriin a form stabilized for transport and storage, one or more cultivation media or the individual components of cultivation media for the microorganism wherein the cultivation media contains100mg/l to500mg/l of aspartic acid, and optionally additives for extending the period of luminescence selected from N-acylhomoserine lactones, dipeptides, oligopeptides, or their biochemical precursors, and boron compounds.
