ABSTRACT:
A method for controlling transmission of sets of data comprises receiving information relating to at least a part of a first data set. This information may comprise the at least part of the first set of data or an indication of receipt of the at least part of the first set of data. The number of times that at least a part of the first set of data has been transmitted is determined. At least one threshold for a quantity indicative of transmission conditions is updated based on the determined number of times, said at least one threshold being for determining a transmission rate for at least a part of a set of data. Determining a transmission rate for at least a part of a second set of data is also discussed.
