ABSTRACT:
The assembly comprises a sealing collar and a mounting cup which is slidable through a path of movement over a container flange to an assembled position with the cavity retaining the sealing collar therein. The skirt has an inner sidewall that has a circumferentially extending groove formed therein for snappingly engaging the collar perimeter when the collar is inserted axially into the cavity, whereby the collar and pump body are lockingly retained in combination with the cup by the cooperation of the groove with the collar perimeter.
