ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for normalized bit counting is described. The method comprising incrementing a bit counter using a first clock, and adjusting a target bit based on a difference in frequency between the first clock and a second clock. The method further comprising determining when the bit counter reaches the adjusted target bit.
