ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for transferring pipette tips is presented which includes first and second members that are assembled and interlocked with one another to move the apparatus into locked and unlocked positions. The first member includes plugs for retaining the large diameter end of pipette tips and the second member includes small projections capable of contacting an outer surface of the pipette tips while they are positioned on the plugs of the first member to lock the pipette tips in place for transfer.
