ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for the transmission of information between a track (11, 12) and a vehicle (13, 14) located on the track in a model railroad system, whereby when electrical contact between the vehicle and track, such as between a wheel of the vehicle and a rail of the track, is lost, a capacitor that then exists between the vehicle and the track is used for the transmission of information.
