ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for radially magnetizing ceramic ferrite in a non-conductive pipe in a lengthwise pattern. The apparatus having two oppositely polarized fixed magnetis, each having an arcuate shaped side facing each other to form a generally circuilar opening. A movable magnet disposed within the generally circular opening having a size and shape to fit within the opening and forming an annular space therebetween. The movable magnet only being restrained by a magnetic field generated across the generally circular opening. Means are included to maintain the movable magnet apart from the fixed magnets.
