ABSTRACT:
The method and apparatus are used to produce a wave winding. To simplify and accelerate the production of wave windings, after winding at least one turn, a stripping stroke pushes the wire between and axially along the first and second shaping elements, which causes radial deformation of the wire to take place in each continual stripping substroke.
