ABSTRACT:
The apparatus for the build-up welding of a hollow articles uses at least two rollers for supporting the hollow parent member during application of the build-up welding. The rollers ride on a raceway formed on the hollow parent member.
Where the raceway is also formed of built-up welding, the rollers are provided in pairs with each roller being alternatingly relieved of load to permit build-up of the raceway.
