ABSTRACT:
In a method and apparatus for measuring sperm penetration in vitro through previously collected cervical mucus, a flat, transparent slide has one or more capilliary channels which will permit positive introduction of the cervical mucus to one end of each of the channels, and a sperm specimen is placed at the opposite end of each of the channels in direct communication with the cervical mucus in the channels. After incubation, the extent of penetration of the sperm cell specimens through each of the channels can be measured and compared.
