ABSTRACT:
A pair of reference portions20and20is brought into contact with an internal peripheral surface11of the vicinity of both side end portions of a tubular body10.The tubular body10is rotated such that contact portions where the tubular body10and the pair of reference portions20and20contact move on the internal peripheral surface11in a circumferential direction of the tubular body10with positions of the pair of reference portions20and20fixed. The radial displacement of an external peripheral surface12of the tubular body10caused by the rotation of the tubular body10at at least one position31and32of an external side of the tubular element10is detected, wherein the at least one position is fixed relative to the circumferential direction of the tubular element10.
