ABSTRACT:
A bevel and radius routing machine is disclosed with which edges are shaped and corners are rounded in a single machine cycle and which does not require any templates. The radii to be machined can be infinitely variable between 0 and 100 mm by means of simple work spindle adjustment, and no resetting of machine is required when workpiece dimensions are changed. The workpieces to be machined are made from wood, artificial wood, wood substitutes or the like. With the apparatus according to this invention the workpiece is fed past the cutter by means of rubber coated feed rollers and as soon as the position is reached at which the radius begins is swivelled through 90.degree. and then traversed to the next radius in a straight line.
