ABSTRACT:
For removing water condensed on the outer surface of a tube (10) which is insulated by means of an insultating assembly (12), a plug (30) is arranged extending through the insulating assembly. The plug comprises a conduit component (32) in which a capillary suction material (36) is enclosed. The material (36) communicates with an evaporator foil (38) circumferentially encircling the outer cylindrical surface of the insulating assembly (12). The capillary suction material (36) may be substituted by a foil of a capillary suction material or a hygroscopic paint.
