ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for inducing deflections in a collimated optical beam using a microptic multiplet (MOM) optical system wherein a first microptic lens module (MLM) receives a collimated optical beam and provides it to a second microptic lens module (MLM) whose lenslet optic axes are displaced relative to the lenslet optic axes of the first MLM by an amount yielding the desired optical beam deflection.
