ABSTRACT:
A four wheel drive vehicle with brakes equipped for respective wheels on front and rear axles, in which an anti-lock control device is provided to control the braking pressure applied to the brakes so as to reduce the pressure when an associated wheel is about to be locked. The antilock control of the braking pressure for the wheels on the front axle and the control of the braking pressure for the wheels on the rear axle are conducted individually and reduction of the braking pressure for the rear wheels is effected more intensely than reduction of the pressure for the front wheels.
