ABSTRACT:
Pigmented paper fibers of improved brightness and light scattering ability are produced by treating the pulp fibers with 0.1 to about 10 wt. % of a silica/alumina sulfate sol composition at a temperature of about 50 to 80.degree. C. and good agitation.
