ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a diversion valve for a liquid metering arrangement including a liquid meter, a sampling chamber and a sub-sampler. The diversion valve has a first position allowing liquid to flow normally to the meter, sampling chamber and sub-sampling chamber. The diversion valve has a second position wherein a major proportion of the flow of a cleaning liquid is diverted through the valve and into the sampling chamber for cleaning-in-place to be effected. A smaller proportion of the cleaning liquid is allowed past the diversion valve for cleaning-in-place of the remaining components of the metering arrangement.
