ABSTRACT:
A coating composition comprises 0.1 to 10% by weight of a linear polyester polyurethane, 2 to 25% by weight of at least one organic solvent-soluble phenolic resin, 3 to 18% by weight of a halogenated resin selected from the group consisting of halogenated rubber, halogenated polyolefins and halogenated vinyl halide polymers and an inert solvent in an amount sufficient to provide an adhesive primer having a solids content of 10 to 70% by weight.
