ABSTRACT:
A melt-blowing die including a plurality of capillaries and orifices is used to obtain more than one flow of a molten resin from the tip portion of the capillary die by providing a plurality of notches on the tip portion of the die. A high-speed gas flows through the notches between the tip portions of the die to divide the resin into more than one flow. The invention prevents fibers from becoming entangled or ball-shaped.
