ABSTRACT:
A device for the administration by inhalation of a medicament in powdered form. The device includes a supply of the medicament in the form of a compacted body of powered medicament, a rotatable helical blade which abrades a desired quantity of the medicament from the compacted body, and a mouthpiece through which the abraded powder can be inhaled by the user of the device.
