ABSTRACT:
A disposable closure assembly/container combination for delivering medial fluid to a patient by needleless access means. The closure assembly comprises an elastomeric stopper for sealing the container at its open end and a spike access means equipped with a luer connector. The target area in the elastomeric stopper and the spike access means are recessed thereby forming a low profile closure assembly for the container.
