ABSTRACT:
An adhesively attachable bandage for an open wound. A one-way valve permits air or other fluids to move through the bandage in one direction, as to escape from a body cavity, but prevents fluids from moving in the other direction, as in entering the wound. A selectively sealable port can be opened to give access directly to the wound. The bandage may be transparent.
