If a user pushes an operating member50in a state in which a case11of an optical transceiver1is locked in a cage2, a lever22is turned to the front of the optical transceiver1. If the user pulls out the turned lever22, a projection provided on an actuating piece28abuts a convex portion35so that an end of the actuating piece28projects below the case11. If a plate spring portion18of the cage2is pressed and elastically displaced by the end of the actuating piece28, a lock portion17of the case11comes off a locking hole19of the plate spring portion18, and the optical transceiver1can be pulled out of the cage2.
