ABSTRACT:
The invention is a connector to join structural members.
In particular, the invention is a connector to assemble and join structural members where the members can be formed from dissimilar materials; for example, an aluminum plate joined by the connector to a steel plate. The connector can be formed in part or in whole from a shape memory metal that exhibits dimensional change upon assembly to complete the joint.
