ABSTRACT:
A measuring apparatus comprises a handle22having a tape-holder26′ and pendulum24attached thereto such that a measuring tape30can extend to a variable extent sideways out of the tape-holder with the pendulum hanging vertically downwards. In the preferred embodiment there are two tape holders26′, 26″ which are rotatable on the handle about the axis of the pendulum.
