ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a synthetic crystalline material and its use in catalytic conversion of organic compounds and as a sorbent. The crystalline material contains one or more microporous crystalline phases, having a micropore volume greater than or equal to about 0.15 cc/g distributed in channels between about 3 to about 15 .ANG. in average diameter which is rendered accessible by a mesopore volume of greater than or equal to about 0.1 cc/g distributed in channels between about 20 to about 100 .ANG. in average diameter. A process is also provided for preparing the crystalline material of the present invention.
