ABSTRACT:
A lift apparatus for use in material handling characterized by a self-propelled and steerable chassis which mounts a pair of laterally spaced multi-stage mast assemblies for raising and lowering a lift carriage, and a stabilization torsion bar system actuatable by the mast assemblies for maintaining the lift carriage in a horizontal plane during such operation.
