A wind resistance retarding assembly is mounted on the frame structure in front of the track which includes a series of fan blades rotatably driven by the rollers through a pair of spaced belt and pulley assemblies. The wind resistance produced by the turning fan blades is directed at the user and serves to retard the movement of the track when the user desires to slow the pace or disembark.
